Emily Scott-Dearing

Emily trained as a biomedical scientist to post-doctoral level, developing gene therapy for cystic fibrosis and studying cell-virus interactions. Since 2001 she has created exhibitions and permanent galleries at the Science Museum on topics as diverse as the MMR vaccine, Cosmonauts and what the latest genetics and neuroscience reveal about our identities. She now leads the team responsible for the Museum's medicine collection and creating six new galleries to showcase the collection for a new generation.
